Other companies send a sales representative out to assess a client’s needs and firm a contract. Then a technical team does the install, and when something goes wrong, the client contacts a separate customer support team. TCS does things differently. They believe that no one can better assess a client’s needs than the engineering team who will design their system. And no one can better make adjustments or repairs than the engineer team who knows the system in and out. As a client, you’ll deal with the same team from start to finish (and beyond), so we’re always on the same page.
Rather than try to sell a one-size-fits-all system, we assess the specific needs of each client and develop a customized system designed for optimum performance, reliability, and ease of integration with your current system. We provide turnkey solutions for flight test, range, launch support, flight termination, and satellite ground support applications. Our systems are used in demanding 24 hour/day, 365 day/year applications where reliability is paramount.
The TCS Difference
We have extensive experience refurbishing and providing upgrades to existing systems, as well as designing entirely new systems. Our products utilize the latest in pedestal design, electronics integration, and software automation.
Our History
We based our designs on logical sub-systems, that could be used to both build our own solutions, but upgrade antenna systems previously made by other manufacturers. This gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and our technology to new customers with less risk than buying a brand-new system. Since then, TCS has delivered over 700 systems spanning the globe covering six continents. TCS technology provides feedback to customers when things are working well and when they require attention. It gives us the ability to respond to new customer requirements and aid when things need attention in the field.
In 1999, six engineers founded Telemetry & Communications Systems, Inc. (TCS) with the intent to bring the best products and services in the industry to their clients. We recognized from the beginning that to do this, we would have to revolutionize industry practices in the areas of design and automation, sales and support, and company organization. Our first system was a 6-meter Model XY system delivered to Malindi, Kenya. From there, we improved our pedestal designs, our hardware and software to become a key piece in the global telemetry infrastructure.
Delta Telemetry Systems
In 2023, TCS became part of the Delta Telemetry Systems team. Together, we aim to provide to the telemetry and satcom communities a true end-to-end solution from data acquisition to data display. We look forward to all of the exciting new opportunities to provide amazing telemetry solutions to the world.
